My 76 yr old uncle in Maine, sent his wife to receive cancer treatment in Calif staying with her daughter. My aunt is terminal & on delauden. Her daughter has PoA and has taken $100,000 out of a joint checking acct using checks my aunt signed. Is this legal?

It depends. If the checks are being used to benefit her parents (paying their bills, for their care, for supplies or equipment that they need, etc...) then yes.
If the money is just being squandered, or used so the daughter can buy herself a new Porsche, then that is financial elder abuse and has civil and criminal remedies. This type of behavior should be reported to the state adult protective services agency.
