71 yr old woman talked in sgning the deed of her home over and sent to a assisted living.
The people that took her home now allow her to live in one room until shes dies. Is what they have told her because she did not like the assisted living facility. They have taken all her furnture away and take her money.

The described factual situation constitutes elderly abuse. You can report it to the appropriate division of FL Dept. of Children & Family and to FL Dept of Elder Affairs. Even if done by a family member, such actions can be investigated and resolved. There is a hotline at DCF: 800-962-2873. You can get help from either agency by explaining the basic facts. Present mental condition of the woman including whether she has agreed and is satisfied with her situation, is important.
