Baker Act/Protective Services for Elderly
After the 72 hour hold for a Baker Act expires would the facility be able to hold the person longer if there was a Petition filed with the court by another agency for Protective Services? There are separate statutes for these actions so it is a little unclear. The facility doesn't want to violate the persons rights.

Re: Baker Act/Protective Services for Elderly
It depends on the petition and the basis for it.
