Good Morning,
My mother asked me to help her do some estate planning by getting the right type of lawyer to assist her...She does not want the government to get their hands on money that her and my father have saved all of their lives to pass on to her 4 children...(God forbid one or both of them gets sick...She has been told by many people that the way to go is to see an Elders lawyer...I told her to see somebody that does trusts and estate planning...I am thinking that they are both similar...Which type of lawyer would be better able to help her to get what she wants accomplished...Also, what is the cost range for this type of service start to finish...Thanks in advance for your help and I hope that you have an outstanding Friday.
Sincerely,
Tony

Tony, I would recommend getting intouch with an elder law attorney. The cost range depends on the work that is being provided. Much like other services, you get what you pay for.
