lawsuit filed on accident after death
mom just passed away, and now a month later a resident in the retirement
community has filed a lawsuit against her. 7-months ago he fell out of
her golf cart and broke his hip. It happened on the property of the
community. Not on moms property. Her mobile is already in her sons name,
and all monies too.
Will his suit stick ? I appreciate your comments.

He needs to file the claim against the estate. That would be the only valid way to proceed. If you mother had car insurance, the accident in the golf cart would apply to the claim. Contact the insurance company right away.
