My mother is in an Alzheimer's care home. Another patients spouse hit my mom and we eneded up taken her to the emergency room because they thought that she might have a broken arm. i said that at the very least till we get results and the bill they should ban the spouse and notify us when they let them back in the facility. they had told us it was their policy not to let them back in. we just found out that they are letting the spouse visit and they never notified us. what re our legal rights, we have yet to get the hospital bill for the incident itself.

I suggest you sue for assault and battery agianst the person who hit you mother along with elder abuse. SEcondly, you need to sue the home as well.
