My mother bought two homes for herself and my brother in Florida 3 months ago. She bought the home for my brother with the understanding that he would take care of her. She put the home in his name. She found out that she had been scammed as he took a new wife and he is not honoring his agreement. Does she have any legal standing to get her house back?

If the agreement wasn't in writing she may be out of luck; however, it is worth her while to consult with a contracts attorney to see if she has a course of action--perhaps an action based on promissory estoppel could come into play.
