My mother in a nursing home and they want me to sign over the house to them but my name and mother name is on the house together do i need to sign it over to them

You should definitely meet with an elder law attorney who focuses on medicaid planning. It is in fact possible to save the house and get the government to pay the nursing home bill rather than selling the house to do so. Schedule a consultation ASAP!
