If parent pays relative for care and then needs to go to nursing home, would the funds paid to relative have to be repaid in order to be Madicaid eligible?

General response is: no, Medicaid Florida would not require such repayment. Medicaid rules are complex, depend on overall financial situation of beneficiary, but in the absence of unusual and excessive payments, eligibility for Florida Medicaid would not require repayment.
