Please tell me what the Florida right of election for a surviving spouse entitles him/her to financially. In NY it is 1/3 of the estate + $50,000

The Florida elective share is 30% of the "elective estate". Generally, the "elective estate" is the probate estate with numerous specified additions (like pay on death accounts).
