Legal Question in Entertainment Law in Florida
poker
ok ive reaserched and it states that if the people know everyone at the game it is cosidered a legal friendly game and cash can be involved. i work in the military and was wondering if that would work if i were to host such game or games and charge merely for the cost of food and such making no profit at all. would it still be deemed legal?

You've been misinformed. Florida gambling laws are extremely strict and even a friendly game of Texas Hold 'Em for sandwiches or old shoes would be illegal. Any game involving cash is certainly a crime. People do it all the time and get away with it, and you probably could, too, but it is a crime.
