Legal Question in Entertainment Law in Florida

Recording a Song for Profit Without Consent

I collaborated with a producer a few years ago on a song. I wrote the lyrics and he created music to my melody. He then went behind my back and was paid for a girl to record and use the song for her demo. He seems to think he does not not need my consent to use any of the songs we collaborated on together. I have told him numerous times to remove my song off his website (with the other girl singing) as I am using the song in a package currently for myself. He has now sent me a note telling me he plans to ''sell'' 2 of the other songs we collaborated on...the same split he did music I did lyrics. What are my options here...can I sue for damages?
