Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

I have 2 children & currently recieve child support thru child support enforcement & the father 7 I have never been married. We are currently living in a motel & I can't find employment. My family in AL want to come get my children & I to live with them til I get back on my feet but the father lives in FL. What do I need to do so I can move & get back on my feet. I am not trying to keep the kids from their father he can see them at n e time.
