Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

In 2004, our divorce stated that my ex husband was responsible to income deduction order...he never did so I went to the court house to doit.they recently garnished his wages and said he was 4,000 behind.He told me to sign off on the reaarges o he wouldn't have to pay..I told himto show me proof that he paid it and that I would..the amount was only 162.00 monthly and sometimes he would pay and sometmes not..now he is taking me to court and stating that I would not sign off on it and that I am lying....I have no attorney, no money for one, and am being depositioned..what aryour feelings on this going to court and how does this typically turn out.tks

The burden is on him to prove what you received. See a lawyer so you will know the rules of providing testimony.

He will have to produce all receipts showing that he paid you. If you are in the Duval, St. Johns, Clay or Nassau counties, contact my office. Don't let this man bully you.
