Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

im 17 and dont get along with my mom at all and its just getting worse, id love to move up to new york with my dad, well hes not my real dad but the only father figure that ive known since i was born, i dont know my real dad, but i just need to know if moving in with my dad would be legal at 17?

It's legal if your mom doesn't call the police or demand that you come back.
