Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

I have a 10 month old daughter that i cannot support because of my young age and because im still trying to finish school. I asked for help from my daughters mothers parents and they want me to temporarily sign my rights over to them. Now they promised me that nothing would change, that i will still be taking care of my child daily they just want the legal rights just in case. I hate the sound of this and it makes me very nervouse that they are trying to take her from me. If i do sign the papers how difficult is it to go to court to get her legally back, and what legal steps should i take in this case?

How old are you? Are you saying High School. Where is the father of this child? Where are his parents? Why are you not getting child support? You have a vast array of options to help you but need more info before giving you some advise.

It's possible to grant temporary guardianship to the mother's parents and accomplish what you want, but it usually doesn't obviate child support (which is one of your goals) and it may interfere with your rights later when you try to get your child back and they (inevitably) file a petition to terminate your father's rights. I'm not saying not to do the guardianship, but be very, very careful, and don't even think about doing this without a lawyer.
