18 and alone

My problem is that i am know 17 but my bith day is in Febuary and the day of my bith day i was planing to leave my parents house but i dont know what shelters are available for me in Fort Lauderdale and what are my benefits. I whant to continue my studys by homeschooling but i dont have alot od money and i dont whant to tell my parents im leaving, is it elegal? Can the Police Arest me for this? Please Help me. I want to solve this problem befor my birth day.
