Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Im going to be 21 thursday, my biological father was never apart of my life, never paid child support, He did know about me, and where to find me, Now me and my mom looked and looked, never found him, we have proof of him knowing about me, may 2009, she was on facebook and found him, i met him, things were always iffy, alot happend, threats, etc. my mom and me, want to see if we are able to backtrack child support, because he did know, and was never there. or possibly sue him for a sum of money. What kind of lawyer would we need? Any info would be great.
