Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
I'm going to be 18 in 2 weeks and i want to move in to my girlfriends moms house, my mom is really scaring me at home and making me feel unsafe, my girlfriend and i dont feel safe me being here, and her parents are ok with this and want us to move in ASAP. Can i do this legaly without my moms concent?

Although you may not have yet attained the adult age of 18, given the circumstances described in your inquiry, you may relocate without parental consent. Considering your feeling and concern regarding personal safety and your age, you have a right to move. Since you are virtually an emancipated minor under the law, parental legal consent is not an important issue.
Just to add to Mr. Martin's reply to you, if your mom is a danger to herself, you really should contact adult protective services and have them check on her condition. She may be suffering from some type of anxiety and/or mental problems.
Please do not leave her to fend for herself if she needs help.
