I am a 17 year old looking to get a name change. I would like to know how much, how long, and what steps I would have to take to do so.

If you are doing this youself, you will pay about $400 (depending on what county you are in). You simply file the paperwork with the court but because you are a minor, you will need parental consent unless you are emancipated.
