Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
I have a 16 year old daughter, who refuse to listen, runaway consistantly, been in and out of juvenile detention center in 3 different states. She has stolen from me several times, stolen from my mother and other friends. She skip school and she hang around gang members and before moving here my home was shot up because of her. She was recently entered into Job corp, and was kicked out after two months because she refuse to follow instruction and was fighting with the attempt to do bodily harm. We are new to Fl so I'm not sure of the laws. But she wants to be on her own and think she can do better. I have another child who is younger, she's a danger to herself and others. What are my options.

She will get into more trouble and when she does, just be truthful with the juvenile judge. There are programs which kids might be able to get into where they have a job and basically live on their own. If the daughter has been violent, you may think about getting a restraining order against her.
Go to the mental health division of the court in your county and file for her to be placed in the Marchman Act. There will be a hearing and they will determine if she needs to be placed in a facility.
