Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
I have a 2 year old that his father and I were never married. We never filed any custody documents. I married a man in the military who is stationed in Hawaii. Right now we are in Florida. He is not willing to sign a release form for me. Do I have any rights to be able to move out of the state without his consent? He has made no real attempts to spend time with his son. I have to almost force him to see him. I hear from him maybe once every 2 months asking how my son is. My husband and I have offered for him to visit whenever he likes and when I come back to Florida, I will make every attempt for him to see him. Can he legally keep me here?

You can't remove your child permanently from Florida without the father's permission or a court order. Since the father refuses, you'll have to file a petition for relocation with the family court. You should get a family law attorney to help you.
