17 Year Old fear for life from dad
A 17 year old girl fears for her life from her alcoholic father who has a past record of abuse. If she were to report further actions possibly several years after the original incident, would that be viable? Also the teen is currently living in the same house as the father with a co-dependant mother who goes by dads law, and has been cut off from cell phone and internet. On many circumstances (100% of them so far) the mother sides with the father no matter what. If the teen made a report and the father was to be exiled from the house or the teen removed depending on the mothers consent, would the teen be able to emancipate herself if the mother chooses the father over her? If she cant emancipate, what could she do about divorcing her parents since im sure this on 2 seperate actions.

If she wants to be under the watchful eye of the Dept. of Children & Family Services, she can make a call to the hotline. It will be investigated. Could be an injunction could be placed.
If she is in school, her guidance counselor can help.
