Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

I'm a 16 year old female living in the state of Florida with my mother as my only legal guardian. I have been suffering abuse for many years now and it's recently gotten to the point where I need to reach out to authorities because I can no longer put up with this as it is affecting my physical and emotional health. My problem is that my mother is paying for my school (private) where I have a lot going for me and I would hate to leave because of these legal problems. I'm living in fear where I will be placed if my mother loses custody of me, that is really what is stopping me from contacting child services. I have no family in the United States, only my godmother and another aunt that have no problem with taking me in as they have stated before. Is it possible for either of them to take legal custody of me so I won't have to be taken into custody by the state? Is there anything else I can possibly do to get away from this abuse? I'm an AP and Honors student, I play sports, have many offers for college and in fact I have a clean record so this is not a disciplinary problem. How can I resolve this problem without it affecting my school life? Please help me, If I need to find a lawyer I will.

You really need to speak in person with a local attorney or contact DCF. There are too many variables to attempt an answer in this space.
