Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

My 17 year old son is moving to New Mexico to live with friends. He currently lives in Florida. He will be transfering to the local hisgh school there. What legal preperations should I make to allow the parents to act on my behalf including enrolling in the school there and medical decisions (if needed)?
