Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

"My ex and I have an 8-year-old daughter together, and he has just moved into a new place with a roommate. Well, I did a little research into this guy he's moving in with and found that he has a rap sheet filled with assaults, drug dealing, and even one for cyberstalking. My ex doesn't have a job so apparently can't afford anything better. This guy he lives with was just recently arrested for something, but the charges were apparently dropped. I'm terrified that something may happen to her. If I filed a child visitation modification, would I have any prayer of getting one? Thanks!

You should file Supplemental Petition requesting modification right away. You need to allege a substantial change in circumstances and include the issues you have mentioned above.
