Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

I am 25 years old. My father passed away when I was about 19, owing me backed child support. He was also in the military, and I received no benefits. I am not sure if his family had any insurance for him. I am wondering if there is anything I can do to collect the money owed to me?

You are not owed anything. The child support was for your mom to help in her expenses of raising you. Only she has standing to file a claim.
