Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

I am 16 years old, and I live with my mom and her husband who adopted me when I was 10. There has been a history of violence while I've lived with them, ranging from abuse when I was younger to fights, the most recent one leading to my incarceration. I'm seeking to be emancipated but they've harshly restricted my activities, which has proved problematic since I'm looking for a job. My mom's husband doesn't work at all, and I'm forced to deal with him every day for the majority of the day while my mom supports our family of 5. I'm currently enrolled in virtual school, and I'm trying to find out what my options are.

Call the Dept of Children and Family Services - explain your situation to them and ask them to remove you from the home.
