Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

I am 16 years old and my parents were divorced when I was young. This year my mother sent me away to live with my father because she says I need to learn to grow up. After living with my dad for 2 months he has yelled and screamed at me on a daily basis. He also calls me a screw up and an f**k up for no reason. This is verbal abuse right? I want to live back with my mother but I don't think she'll take me back. Can the law force her to take me back if I am being abused by my father?

Unless your parents have gone to the courts for legal modification of the divorce settlement agreement that covers child custody, then they are in contempt of court. However, I would suggest you call child services.
