16 yo chooses
my 16 yo lives with mother in fl. but wants to live with myself and stepmother can i travel to fl and bring her back to ms. even if her mother tells her no

Each of you have that right until there is a court order.

If you are divorced, you will need to go before the court of continuing jurisdiction (most likely where you were divorced) and ask for a modification of child custody and support. When a child reaches this age the court will usually go along with the preference of the child but there is no guarantee. You need to speak with a local family law attorney in that jurisdiction.
