Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

5yr child

In a former relationship for about 3 yrs. Now separated. 4 yr old isin't biologically mine. 2 yr is , and I have an open court case.

5 yr old only knows me as his father, mother will not allow me to see him. Have a Guardian Ad-litem involved in the case.

Do I have any legal right to this Child? Can I legally do anything?

Re: 5yr child

Sometimes in dependency cases (child neglect), the Court will order visitation to nonparents. However, if you are in a standard paternity/time sharing case, that will not occur. And unless you adopted the child, you have no legal right to the child. I would assume, though, that once the bitterness clears, if you end up with time sharing on the one child, the mother will allow the other one to go, just to get a break.
