Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

I have a 12 yr old daughter and my mother wants to her to come and stay with her for 2 weeks after she has back surgery over this summer. My wife and I have had some problems in the past but have resloved them and are doing fine but our daughter may try to state she wants to live with my mother once she gets to Alabama. If she crosses state lines and with her age in question, can my 12 yr old daughter opt to stay in Alabama and if so, what rights would I have as her father to get her to return to Florida and live with her mother and I?

Your daughter is not old enough to make that decision. As long as there has not been anything other than what you have stated, she would have to return home.
