Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
My 15 yr. old son has been with his mother since birth, I live in Fl and she lives in SC, He came for a visit during spring break and expressed interest in staying, so I keep him here and enrolled him in school here, his mother is not happy and I am way behind in support payments, did I break any laws and what happens next, she served me with contempt of court papers

How long has the child been here? Was there a verbal agreement between you and the mother as to the child remaining in Florida. You may not be under jurisidiction issues in S.C. You may need to domesticate the order in Florida and have her serve you here. You need to speak to a SC attorney on that issue and locate a Family attorney in Florida as to the other issues.
