i am now 18yrs. old an want to adopt my grandpartents last name.they have been my parents for the 18yrs.i would like to have my birth records changed,what must i do adult adoption?

You don't necessarily need to do a grandparent adoption, but you can do a petition for name change.

You can't change your birth records. You can change your name, if you wish, without the adoption process.
