Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

I am a 43 yrs old woman and is planning to get married in Feb 2010. My boyfriend and I have agreed to sign a prenup. my question is, I bought a house back in 2003 way before I knew he exsited and he does not own any property so can he take it from me if we should ever seperate if he help me make any kind of home improvements or payments on the my house?

Just make sure that you clearly state in the prenuptial agree that he doesn't get the house, even if he makes mortgage payments or improvements to the house. You should get a family law attorney to help write the prenup. Do the prenup soon. Don't wait until three weeks before the wedding, because waiting can make the prenup invalid.
