Abuse of 18 yr old
My ex husband is beating our 18 yr old daughter when he gets mad and/or they argue. What can I do as a parent to stop this from happening again? She is too afraid to do anything thinking it will be make matters worse.

She's now of age. Not child abuse. Simple battery. She's living at home, I'll assume so and that she needs to stay there.
The short fix is to get the family into some kind of counselling. If she can be self-sufficient then have her move away.
She needs to see someone, maybe, at the local domestic violence center, or she can go file criminal charges.
