Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

I am being abused by my husband and the state got involved and said they would take my children or I can give them to their father for awhile. What process do I have to go through for this divorce if I want to move away? I have nothing here in Florida so I am staying with his family.

The relocation procedure is located in Florida Statute 61.13001, but you need to speak to a lawyer right away. DCF may assume you are attempting to move to get away from them, and they may move your kids into protective custody.

If you want to move without the kids, there is no procedure, you can just move.
