Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
Can I adopt my step daughter who is 27 years of age?
My Step Daughter is now 27 years old. I have raised her from the age of 8 years old. My wife and I have been married for 19 years. Her biological father resides in Michigan. I would like to adopt her. Would we need his consent seeing that she is no longer a minor?
Also how do Florida and Michigan laws apply

Yes, an adult can be adopted. Consent may not be required but notice is.
