my sons fiance was killed 11-23-08 they have 2 children together plus he son 6 years of age her and my son had been together since he was a baby he only know my son as his father, how can my son adopt him or get custody of him he do not want to separate the kids what can he do ?

You will probably need an attorney for this one. Adoption law is not easy. Is your son's name on the birth certificate? Is there a father's name on the birth certificate at all? If not, then adoption will be easier.

Was your son's fiance married at the time of the birth? Does your son know the birth father?

These are all questions that will need to be answered.
