Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

My adult son still lives at home, I take full care of his two sons, ages 10 and 11. In Sept. I made the mistake of allowing his girlfriend to stay because she had nowhere else to go...she has two kids, who are currently staying with her mother but were at my home for a while. Neither one of them works, helps around the house or contributes to the expenses at all. I recently had items stolen from me that have not been returned. I told my son to return it or pack up and move out...they are still there. Do I have to go through the eviction process?

You will need to file an ejectment as they are not paying rent and it is your son(family member).

It is similar to the eviction process but because they are non paying residents, you must file under ejectment. You will file a complaint and summons to be served on them.
