need advice on adoption. my gf gave her children up and is seeking to gain at least written contact or possibly retain her children, and want to know the best way to go about this.

If she gave them up - giving up her parental rights - then she has no recourse.

It dependson what you mean by "gave up." If you mean she agreed to terminate her parental rights to DCF, she may be entitled to visitation. If she gave the children up for private adoption, then the odds of getting any visitation are very slim, though it couldbe allowable in certain circumstances.
