Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

I need some advice

I am 4 months pregnant, and the father has chosen not to take an active roll in our lives. Do I have any legal rights at this point for any type of support from the father (i.e. medical, housing, etc), or will I have to wait until the child is born? I could really use some advice...I am lost! Thank you

When the baby is born, you can file a Paternity action. In that action you would include these expenses which you are referring to. Therefore, you will not only request child support but those expenses.
