Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

My husband was previously married and when they split, he signed an agreement that his ex had a lawyer friend draw up basically saying that he would be resposible for practically all their debt. I'm not really sure of the actual wording, but anyway, we are not able to continue to make payments to her. Do we have any options in disputing this agreement? She has since obtained her PhD. in psychology and is working and livig in New York. She has been harrassing us recently and we have gotten two separate warrents out for her arrest should she decide to come to my residence or my husbands work. Please help...
