Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

alimony

I have been married for 9 years, we have 3 children together. We have been separated since August, he resides up north. He is currently paying $200 a week for our children. After 9 years of marriage and 5 years of them a stay at home mother, can I receive temporary alimony so I can go back to school?? (I am currently employed and work a 50 hour week just to make ends meet leaving no time for anything but work and minimal time with my kids)

That depends on the Court. You should consult with an attorney who practices in the county where you live.

Basically it sounds like you need it to rehabilitate yourself. Of course, if you go to school you will have even less time with the children.
