Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Alimony from Social Security money

I have just been divorced and ordered to pay $1200 monthly in alimony. my income is $1600 in SS and $2400 in WC.

Thats a total of $4200 monthly.

My question is when my WC ends I will only be getting the $1600 SS monthly. Do you think I will still have to pay the alimony out of my SS. I realize it will be reduced, but I'm wondering if an ex wife can get my SS.

I am 70 years of age.

I was married 24 years.

Thank you .

She may be able to get money. I would need to review your court records to advise you further.
