Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
I applied for child support a while ago and now Pluries has been issued and came back unserved. I am having no luck on getting the document served because the address being used, tenants keep stating the father does no live their. How can I go about having the father served on his job, so that this process can start. I am not sure I truly understand the process and why it takes so long if the father actually lives at the address given. What else can I do?

You have to get personal service so you should hire a lawyer to assist you.
Florida law requires personal service of the court document. The Process Server is generally required to believe what the tenants tell him. Contact your attorney and request the Father be served at work, be sure to give the address.
Have him served at work. Use the service of the Sheriff's dept. that way you will have no problems.
