Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

my attorney charging for things that were not done

I dismissed my attorney. At the time of dismissal I had $300.00 credit, which he said would take care of all dept. He has now billed me over 2000.00 more with overpriced billing that I can tell by my present attorney bill against my previous attorney. My present will charge 75.00 for a call and my previous attorney will charge 150. The differents between attorneys prices is 5 dollars a hour. I want to figure out how I can prove and maybe get a court order for phone records involving cslls from my first attorney and my present attorney and myself.

Your inquiry relates to an attorney/client issue rather than family law. Such issues may receive assistance from the Florida Bar Association or an attorney who handles legal malpractice cases.
