Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

My attorney wants my ex husband to sign authorizations-- which he refused to do. I am wondering why my attorney would not just issue subpoenas instead of trying to get the judge to force him to sign. Is there some hidden benefit to authorizations?

Maybe the authorizations are required, such as for health records. Health records can't be subpoenaed without authorization.
