Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

I have had an attorney that was working on my divorce. He represented my ex-husband and I. We have been legally divorced since 01/31/08. My ex-husband has received his funds from the sale of all our combined personal assests. I have not.I have recently heard this attorney has been suspended from practiceing law in Texas since 01/31/09. I am of course stuck. Him and my ex-husband reside in Texas. I am in Florida. The divorce was in completed in Texas. What should my next step be. I am in the process of filing a grievance with the State bar of Texas.

You'll have to post in the Texas forum. If you have a case, it will be in Texas. Florida doesn't have jurisdiction over your divorce issues since your ex-husband still lives in Texas.
