Can he do this to her?

My aunt 64/homermaker/cancer free 3 months, my uncle 40/FBI. Married 16 years. They have home, car, gold wing motorcycle, insurnace policies. He has 401K. Wants divorce b/c of sickness/age. He doesn't want her to have any part of 401k and doesn't want to be removed from her life insurance policies as beneificary. What is she entitled to? Is there Seperation laws in FL? How long do they have to be seperated before he files for divorce? She cannot afford a lawyer, is there Free Legal Council in Spring Hill/New Port Richey areas?
